Did anyone ever try that Double Down?

Yep. It wasn't good. I don't mind eating disgusting food if it's at least delicious, but the double-down failed in this respect. It was just too...salty....and lacked a general flavour of yumminess. That's my professional opinion.

Go with KFC's Spicy Big Crunch...it's WAYYYYYYY better.

Yep, had that too. It's good, but not great. Too much meat. It's overkill.

I was curious and checked the BK Triple Whopper with cheese... it's pretty much the same as two Angus Third Pounders together!

Wow. That's a WHOPPER! HA HA!

HA HA! No doubt... that would be awkward to eat for sure. Too much meat, you need a balance with a burger.

I've had the Baconator and that is deadly as well.

Big Crunch is sweet. My favourite KFC sandwich was the Zesty Bacon Melt but I don't know if they have that anymore.

Favourite fast food sandwich is Wendy's Spicy Chicken.

That KFC Zinger looks good. Looks comparable to the Wendy's Spicy Chicken sandwich, which I really like. I'll have to give it a spin.

Anyone tried that?

Yep, Baconator is on that threshold of "too much".

The Spicy Chicken at Wendy's is really really good, but I just find it's not filling enough.

Yeah that looked great, I'll have to try the Zinger.

This Zinger Tower (American) looks ridiculous:

It looks exactly like the aforementioned Spicy Big Crunch. And if it is...it's GREAT.

The Spicy Big Crunch is the Big Crunch with spicy sauce. The Zinger is a spicy marinated fillet with mayo.

Ironic that we are talking about spicy chicken sandwiches considering I just had Popeyes Big Easy which is the best ever. I know the Ottawa guys likely won't know what I am talking about, but the GTA folk likely do. It's also a weekly Wednesday special at $3.49 and even at full price (~$6.00) it is a steal. It is a BIG sandwich.

Wow @ the Zinger Tower. They add that hash brown in there just to fatten you up.

I've always wanted a Popeye's in Ottawa. I think I had it when i was a kid, somewhere in Georgia or West Virginia.
