I think everyone figured as much and that's why Mac was claimed off of waivers. Lehner goes back down to Bingo, Ottawa has 2 new goalies, and the world is right again in the never ending revolving door of Ottawa goaltenders.

I was looking at the schedule, and the rest of the Sens schedule is SOFT. Of the 20 games left we've only got 8 against playoff teams: 3 vs the Lightning, 2 vs the Bruins, 1 vs the Caps, 1 vs the Pens and 1 vs the Habs. The rest are all against teams who are directly ahead of us in the standings.

Time to start losing. For real.

Is Michalek out for the year? Apparently Bob McKenzie tweeted that Murray has said that he's out for a long time. I can't access twitter (and don't really want to), so can someone confirm please?

I just checked and didn't see anything, fwiw.

Starting the year with Leclaire - Elliott, ending with Anderson - Mcelhinney, some LEhner in there.

Apparently Murray said that Michalek will be out with an extended period of time, and people are inferring that this means rest of the season.

It's a foot injury from Spezza slapping the puck off Michalek's foot.
