I give him a lot of credit for coming in here and learning earlier (on Saturday) that he’s been put on waivers, and then to go out there and play like that. I think that says a little something about Pascal.

Yeah I'm a little disappointed in the Leclaire situation. I think I was the biggest pascal supporter on here and unfortunately his injury issues may have finished his career, remains to be seen. I hope the best for him in the future and hope he still finds a job somewhere. I don't hold it against him the way it all panned out and I don't understand whysome do.
It's unfortunate that I can't watch games from Asia as I'd like to get an idea on Andersson . It sounds like he's playing himself into a job next season. Anyone know if he's interested in staying with the sens past this season?

I've read the team wan't to keep him but has anyone heard/ read what he wants? Roche? Neely?

Anderson looks amazing, basically looks like a top 3 goaltender in The NHL right now and that's saying a lot. He is exactly what Ottawa needs going forward.

Murray had preliminary talks about Anderson extension... Anderson wants to see what happens in Ottawa first.

EDIT: I'm not sure what that means...we'll be getting a top pick and perhaps someone who can put the puck in the net, but realistically, what you see is what you get.

Yeah, should we be worried? Perhaps it's just posturing for a better contract? I hope it's not a polite way of deflecting the truth that he plans on testing the market.

That's what it sounded like to me too - hopefully Anderson sees that there's a good thing here for him and signs.

Hmm... If his play continues to garner this much positive attention he might think he will have a few other options come July 1st. He may be watching other team's and their goalie situation just as much as Ottawa. Although, most of the competing teams have good goalies that they're committed to so the market might not look that different than it does now. So... I dunno... hopefully he signs before the end of the season.

Anderson is looking for security I am sure and there are probably a few teams that will give him a good chunk of change and term for his services. He's a true number 1, it's worth probably 3 mil a year min.

Giving Anderson a 10 mil plus contract will go a long way in the rebuild and give The Sens some much needed confidence when things break down on them, which is going to happen.

This is one player and position they shouldn't be pulling the purse strings with. Hopefully Murray gets it done very soon.
