Starting the year with Leclaire - Elliott, ending with Anderson - Mcelhinney, some LEhner in there.

Of the 20 games left we've only got 8 against playoff teams: 3 vs the Lightning, 2 vs the Bruins, 1 vs the Caps, 1 vs the Pens and 1 vs the Habs. The rest are all against teams who are directly ahead of us in the standings.
Time to start losing. For real.
Yeah, I'm starting to get scared.

It's a foot injury from Spezza slapping the puck off Michalek's foot.

There are just too many games against the teams right ahead of us in the East. Time to give McIlleyhieney or whatever the Diddle his name is some starts.

Guy's injury prone.

Tomorrow against Boston I think. Winch and Neil are expected back too.

It's also interesting to note that only one D-man was traded off of this D core. Can more be done in the off season? So far our D looks like this going into next season:
Gonchar, Kuba, Phillips, Karlsson, Carkner, Lee, with opportunities for Cowen and Rundblad to make the team.

I think Alexei Kovalev is a UFA at season's end.

Spezza, Butler, Michalek, Alfi, Foligno, Landeskog, maybe Regin in there too but his future is way up in the air.
Maybe through UFA they can go out and get another top 6 guy but I wouldn't give up anything of any value unless it was a legit top line winger coming back to play on the other side of Spezza.
