Schremp isn't better than an AHLer, that's my point. There isn't a soul on The Sens I wouldn't take over Schremp at this point. He's a top 6 forward that can't play in The NHL as a top 6 forward.

Seriously, Greening, Condra, O'Brien, the guys getting the real looks all can play a more important role than Schremp. He isn't an NHL player.

Schremp is exactly like that bike, just useless.

Fair enough. But to you, that means our AHLers should remain with the big club rather than go back down and help bingo. My point is that whether shcremp is better or not, I'd rather still have him than our prospects playing meaningless games in Ottawa.

I guess it comes down to this Neely: what do you think is better for the kids -- the NHL experience they could gain, or the winning experience they could gain, collectively, at the AHL level?

I tend to favour the latter, but I certainly see the upsides to both.

Well, Locke is a guy that will likely not be given an NHL job over the likes of Greening, or any homegrown talent, so might as well replace him with Schremp.

The prospects and especially Condra are doing great in Ottawa right now, Bingo is doing fine, and they will be down to play in the playoffs come the end of the regular season.

The games in Ottawa are not meaningless, to fans, sure, maybe, to people within the organization and to the prospects this is their chance to show what they have and The Sens chance to see what they have. Spezza, Michalek, Karlsson, sure, these games prob don't mean all that much to them, but to a lot of guys it is make it or break time.

Schremp does nothing except waste time and money that could otherwise be spent on a prospect or player that actually has a chance to play in The NHL.

I'm saying both. Give them a taste. They will be playing in the playoffs come April. Bingo is doing fine with all the callups which is a credit to what they are doing down their, coach KK and everyone else.

Right now I think what The Sens are doing is absolutely perfect. Bingo is winning, kids are getting fair looks, and it gives people something to look forward to and talk about.

Winchester will be back soon. Locke was given a promise to get a fair look in The NHL to sign a contract, Murray is keeping it. Simple as that. Rooney was right yesterday when he said that but yes, I would take Schremp over Locke but that is not saying a lot, if anything at all.

Well, Preds lost again. The way it is looking, Ottawa is going to have another top 14 draft pick to go along with their top 4.

Hnidy signs a 1-year deal with Boston. He's still recovering from a shoulder injury, but has been practicing with the team. So what does "one year" mean -- the remainder of the 2010-11 season?

Elliott with his 2nd loss in a row for the Avs last night. They lost 4-3 to the Kings.
