His comeback was finally successful. He finally got to leave on his terms. Don't feel bad for him; my guess is that this is exactly what he wanted to do.

Hiller only had to make 12 saves yesterday vs Edmonton... and got the shutout as the Avs downed the Oil 4-0.

Heh. No, Hiller was right. I said Avs by mistake... had Foppa on the brain I think... it was the Ducks that shutout the Oil.

I am on board with this assessment.

This will be the first year in his career that he's a minus player.

That's a pretty remarkable stat actually, just goes to show how truly great Forsberg was. One of the truly great players of the last 30 years when he's playing at his top level.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned it yet, but Vancouver's defence just took another major hit if you can believe that.

Andrew Alberts broke his wrist in tonights game. I didn't think much of it at the time it happened because he continued to play with it for a bit, but then eventually, left the game.

Hamhuis, Edler, Ballard and now Alberts. Salo is due to be hurt soon. Crazy times in Vancouver.

Now, if only Phillips would waive his clause.
