Holy fack. That's a pretty incredible pace.

Man. RNH is tiny. 6 foot, sure, but something like 160-65. Landeskog & Couturier are both up at around 200. Couturier is 6 foot 4.

Can't teach size.

Wonder how our scouts / management weigh (no pun intended) these things, re: size & skill & potential. Tough job.

I can't decide who my favourite is out of these forwards anymore. Right now I'm leaning towards RNH but I love Couturier's size and his scoring in the Q.

I just really want to draft Larsson if we have the chance. We'll most likely suck next year so we can draft Yakupov or another forward like that next season. There's no Larsson in next year's draft.

Best case: Get another Top 5 or Top 10 pick. Obviously easier said than done...

I think the only way that happens is if Phillips garners a first (even a real low one like Vancouvers) and Nashville's pick ends up being a little higher. That would certainly allow Murray to use those two picks to move up from whereever the Nashville pick is.

Yeah, I agree. Although with 6 feet to work with, he can easily get to 190-195 - and that'll be fine. But I doubt he can make the NHL next year based on weight alone (I guess Ennis waves at me there).

RNH is several inches taller than Ennis though.

I meant on weight alone, I don't care about height, more about core + weight.

They are related though. RNH being talled could carry more weight without affecting his game I would think. For Ennis to get up to 190 or so, he's certainly lose some speed, don't you think?

There are some pretty fabulous defencemen. Especially Ebert and Murray. Actually it's probably heavier on D than forwards.

Well, he is like half a year younger than either. He could still grow, and while you can't teach size you can add weight and muscle.

I mean, he's never going to be Couturier or Landeskog physically but he's not going to be 6'0" 160lbs in his prime.

EDIT: But yeah, I think he should probably spend another year in the 'Dub unless he has an incredible summer.

Not a franchise #1 D like Larsson though. Plus, there's no forward like Yakupov in this draft.

Both Ebert and Murray are getting hype for the #1 pick. I think they could get there.

I'll agree that Yakupov is probably better than the forwards in this draft, but then getting him would require us sucking about as unbelievably as we do this year again.

We will suck like this next year, get ready for it.

P.S. if you are a Sens fan why is your favourite team Detroit?

Frack size, if no one can catch you it's irrelevant. RNH doesn't get checked often down low because he thinks the game a second ahead of most defensemen.

Perfect example would be the Sedins. When drafted they were 6'0" 163lbs. RNH and the Sedins have the same body type; narrow shoulders, long and lean. They turned out alright IMO.

I agree. I guess you need to see him play to know that though. Just looking at someone's height and weight on paper doesn't prove anything.

The thing is, he has the size already; he is 6 foot tall. Muscles and weight can come when he matures. Too much weight right now would hamper him. Are we trying to change RNH into a power forward?

I don't see the problem here.

I'm liking him more and more; his little huge hot streak he is on doesn't hurt either. Only thing that worries me about him is his lack of even-strength points.
