Glennie? I'd rather take Huberdeau if he's available. Kid has some serious skill and is very consistent, pretty physical player and most importantly, one of the youngest players in the draft which means he's probably goign to get better by June.

That would be it.

This guy from HF has some solid analysis of his top 5 picks for this year's draft

heres how "I" see the top 6 (my personal top 6)

1- RNH- May not be ready next year but should one day be a 100 point guy
2- Larsson- Franchise D, NHL ready
3- Huberdeau- May not be ready next year but should one day be a 100 point guy
4- Landeskog- Future captain who does it all, 85 point type one day. NHL ready
5- Hamilton- Future Norris winner, may not be ready next year
6- Couturier- great 2 way guy, 75 point type year in and out, NHL ready

LOL those are all terrible projections except Couturier

Option 1:

I'd take Landeskog + another 20-30 highly skilled more risky forward (catenacci/zibanejad for instance)

Option 2:

Take the most skilled RNH + another big guy with less potential but more ready in the 20-30.

EIther way, we need a sniper + a center.

We might use the Nashville first round pick to draft a Nick Foligno or Jim O'Brien. Yikes.

Both were recent late first rounders of the Sens.

Depending on where Nashville finishes, it could be Matt Puempel Sens draft.

Namestnikov, Grimaldi, Khoklachev, Scheifele and Z.Philips are other guys who have the high risk/high reward skill etc.

Holy fack. That's a pretty incredible pace.

Man. RNH is tiny. 6 foot, sure, but something like 160-65. Landeskog & Couturier are both up at around 200. Couturier is 6 foot 4.

Can't teach size.

Wonder how our scouts / management weigh (no pun intended) these things, re: size & skill & potential. Tough job.
