Are you watching? It is not pretty right now. Ottawa has a good cycle going, but they aren't getting anything of quality to the net.

Zack Smith is using his body, he looks good with Shannon and Winchester.

Kuba is soft.

Damn, I am at work. From the sounds of it, I don't think I even want to bother to find a feed. Facepalm Sarcasm

It's only one period; hang in there, find a feed and show your support. That would be my advice.

Jussi, Jiri and Joni all out and we're still down 0-2. Bah!

Nice patience by Kelly to out-wait Ward, no finish.

Good shift by Michalek, Regin, Kovalev, Kuba and Carkner in the offensive zone, but still no quality chances or shots.

Possession with no shots, bah!

Ward just made a nice glove save on Fisher point blank robbing him of a congratulatory BJ from Underwood tonight. Haha.

Enough of this, terrible call on Fisher with and even worse non-call on Staal.

Stars/Wings here I come.

Man the posts have been our best friends and our worst enemies tonight. Anyone else think only the 4th line came to play tonight?

I mentioned that. Shannon/Winch/Smith looked good - Winchester is winning all his draws from what I can remember and the puck possession starts from there.

At least he's not celebrating like he did the last time. I wonder if someone had a little talk with him about that.

I don't know if this IS the Sens though? With Spezza gone, they have no game breakers. Alfie is getting old and I'm not going to run down the gauntlet of players and pick them apart, but I think the Sens are in for a rough stretch of games for the next...say 6 weeks.

It's the reality we have to face for the next 6 weeks or longer.

Sorry if this sounds like major over-reaction, but I seriously want Regin out of the lineup. He's had opportunities heaped upon him and has produced 1 goal. I know he really should be given a chance to gel with the new line (and new position) but nearly half way into the season he has 1 freakin' goal having played most of these games in the top-six! And don't give me this crap about him trying. If you're not scoring, you've got to do other things -- Fisher is leading the league in blocked shots because for quite a few games he couldn't initiate contact. He's found a way to contribute. Regin has size and speed, but his forecheck is not where it could be, he doesn't hit and he doesn't block. Face it, he is one of those soft Euros Don Cherry talks about. You can't be soft unless you can score; when you don't score you've got to get dirty and Regin does not.

Not if you look at the upside of a high draft pick :D Just flip the standings upside down and watch the Sens....climb?
