Louie!

The video is awful, but the show is hilarious. Here's a sample:

Finally some new Walking Dead tonight!

I'm also enjoying new shows The Following (still hard to see Kevin Bacon on tv) and The Americans (my youngest son hadn't even heard of the Cold War before watching it.)

Homeland, Season 1, is TV at its best. The second season goes a little wonky, but it still pretty good.

I'm contemplating what to do for S2. The box set won't be out until September. I'm ambivalent, at best, about downloading. It *is* illegal not matter how you rationalize it. Is it on Hulu? Will it be? Or Netflix US?

Jaywalking is illegal. There was a time when it was illegal to paint your front door in Kanata. I think it's still illegal to eat ice cream on Bank St. on a Sunday.

Speaking of Kevin's that are hard to see on TV, did you watch Talking Dead? Kevin Smith was on it and he's a little out there. I've never seen calves that fat before in my life.

As for Walking Dead, my boys have started watching S1 on Netflix. Not sure how I feel about that -- the younger one is turning 15 in a few weeks, his brother is 18 months older. It's a good show and I guess I should be happy that they like all the shows we like/liked, but it's hard to think of them as teenagers and not little kids.

Glad the show's finally back, but this episode was a bit slow. Darryl??!

By-laws are not in the criminal code, so it was not "illegal". And it used to be (in Canada) that it was only illegal to upload, but they are changing the rules. ISPs are now forced to provide the list of which customer had what IP address at a particular time, so the content owners could go after you. Will they is a different question. Maybe not Showtime, or whoever produces it. I have no problem paying for it -- not that I like paying full price, of course. Got S1 for $17 and I think that's a fair price for a 12-episode season.

Kevin Smith is a big boy. He was once told to pay for 2 seats on a flight.

I haven't watched Talking Dead. Isn't it just a chat up about the show? Meh.

My 13 year old watches it. I wouldn't worry about your boys watching it, unless you are worried about them going to Kanata Centrum with a crossbow and going postal. Violence these days is pretty damn hard to avoid, and kids know the difference imo. These are the same kids from a generation or two ago. They've been exposed to much more than even I was at that age.

If you guys are looking for a good show to watch i suggest House Of Cards, took me all of 3 days to finish season 1. It is only available on netflix though.

Wanna hear something funny? I bought my parents a blu ray player so I could share my collection with them. Figured might as well get one with "Smart TV" features. So to make a long story short, I got them on my Netflix account and they've been watching a lot of stuff they otherwise would not. Latest is House of Cards. My dad called me last night raving about it.

Started Sons of Anarchy Season #3... ripping through these seasons thanks to Netflix. Heh heh. Great series.

Sons of Anarchy is pretty good, but it's getting a little long in the tooth. Also, the season when they take a field trip to Ireland gets a little boringish. But yeah, it's a really good show.

Anyone else watch the first couple episodes of "The Americans" on FX? I watched the first episode…it was pretty good, but I don't see how it'll be able to sustain itself for seasons to come…but then a lot of TV shows face similar problems.

Also, people should watch Justified. It's great.

AMC-HD should be available for Rogers customers by the end of the month (hopefully not too close to the end). Finally, zombies in HD!

Yay! I've been resorting to downloading The Walking Dead in HD, because I refuse to watch it in cruddy caveman definition.

Be careful with the downloads.

Speaking of which, if I've got unblockUS, can the watchdogs even track me easily? I very rarely download, but I'm sitting here waiting until *September* before I can get S2 of Homeland on blu-ray. Not sure I can last that long, with Summer coming up and all.

You could download all of Season 2 of Homeland today, without any sort of IP blocker/redirecter, and be totally fine.

There is no current reason to be wary of downloading anything.

Almost done Season 5 of Sons Of Anarchy. One more episode left. Then, I do believe we'll get into Breaking Bad. Looking forward to it.

Breaking Bad has gotta be my favourite show of all time. Just terrific...and I don't really remember a bad episode, let alone a bad season.

To me, that Sons of Anarchy season when they take a trip to Ireland just seemed odd.
