Finished Sons of Anarchy. Pretty good. Doesn't beat the Wire.

it seems like Ron Swanson is Ron Burgundy meets Dwight from The Office

Hmm, interesting, but not correct. I laugh at Burgundy and Schrute, but I definitely laugh *with* Ron Swanson.

I haven't read the comics, but from what I understand, that is a prison that you see off in the distance at the end of season 2, and that will likely be the main setting for season 3. Apparently it should get pretty wild, which will be a nice change of pace after season 2.

It was pretty clear it was a prison. I'm talking more about the two zombies on a chain, with no arms and with muzzles over their mouths. Did the "Zombie Master" keep them around to hide the non-dead smell from other zombies? It's not clear. Also, even if they had no arms and could not bite, I don't think their brain stems would take that into account, and they would still *try* to chomp on the ZM. That was just weird. And I can't wait till October 14!

Yeah, that Zombie Master thing was kind of a cliff-hanger...a "WTF" moment. Is that when the new season starts? Oct 14??

October freaking 14! We've already had the mid-season finale for Suits; three new episodes of Grimm and some new shows; and we have another 6+ weeks to go for Walking Dead.

Carl was 9 when this started and is 12 now. The story line hasn't even gone from Summer to Winter yet. Is he going to start talking backwards with water coming out of his mouth now?

That was pretty awesome! Didn't realize he was actually married to "Tammy".

For those who care, Doctor Who S7 premieres tonight at 9PM (and repeats tomorrow at 5:55PM). It runs 1:05 so pad your recording if your guide only shows it as 1 hour long.

3 more sleeps until Impractical Jokers Season 2 starts.

Walking Dead isn't coming quick enough.

After a quiet summer we started watching Lost, and discovered How I Met Your Mother, while in Australia. Barney is my 2nd favorite character on TV.

I finished Lost a few months ago, never got into it while it was on, so thanks to Netflix I watched all 6 seasons in a couple of months.

Now I am almost doen S3 of Breaking Bad. I am also recording S5 on PVR right now, so when I am done with 1-4 on Netflix I can start 5 right away.

Then it will be back to Dexter, Walking Dead and Sons of Anarchy.

And I just discovered Property Brothers. Good Canadian show with two twin brothers renovating a fixer upper to meet a couple's budget and give them their dream home. Most of the episodes are only 1/2 hr though and it sucks that it is too much to cram into 22 mins. They don't show a lot of the reno's, which I think are the fun part.

When I was in Australia I saw this show called The Block. It was a cross between survivor and a home reno show. 4 sets of couples had 10 weeks to redo this homes that were in severe disrepair. They then got to auction them off and keep any profits. Pretty neat concept, having challenges and deadlines to finish different rooms and stuff. They also have to live in these houses, some of which do not even have subfloors. Very cool concept, and I am surprised it's not in North America.

Free homes, eh? Interesting...

Really enjoying "Life" on Netflix. Quirky show. The title probably didn't help it find an audience so it got pulled after the 2nd season. I'm hoping they resolved the center story arc by that point.

Free homes, eh? Interesting...

Not really free. They only renovate them, then sell them. They keep the proceeds with the winners taking home an extra $80,000.

It really depends on when the plug was pulled. I watched a show called Mercy a couple of years ago, that showed promise but wasn't renewed after Season 1. It ended with loose ends that would have been new storylines. I hate that.
