That was lucky. Ott misses a wide open cage.

Ottawa's getting chances, but Dallas doesn't give them any time in their zone. The Stars have been great at limiting Ottawa's time on the attack.

Tampa is beating NYR 5-2 and was outshooting them 32-15. With still some time in the game, Stamkos is at 21 goals and 38 points in 22 games. Remember when this guy was a bust?

balls.....not only does the defense suck, but so does the offense (and Karlsson was not the difference, this team just flat out blew today)

Remember when Ottawa could outshoot opponents like that and score lots of goals? sigh, memories.... Crying

Just pathetic.

The second anyone on the team gets pressured, they cough up the puck easily or turn back 50 different times.

They're lucky they didn't get blown out in this one because they made it so easy for the Stars in this one. I think the Islanders might have beat us in this game. They were that bad.

We're officially mediocre this year. Bleh...we haven't been able to score for the last 3 seasons now.

And we really could have used Karlsson tonight.

This game reminds me a ton of the season opener against buffalo...almost a mirror image of it actually. Garbage.....and again with the constant penalties, getting really sickening now

I think it's time to look at Clouston too. I've been hesitant to point fingers at him but I think it might be time.

We've got some players that should be able to create offense. We also shouldn't have such a difficult time creating scoring chances and breaking out of the zone. The players clearly aren't getting his message or his system is not working for this team. You see an effort like that and you just have to wonder...

I've been thinking about Clouston for awhile now. The guy gets consistently outcoached. I'm not sure what the big love affair is with this guy. His refusal to shorten his bench in crunch time infuriates me. I laughed everytime I saw Winchester and co. on the ice in the last 5 mins.

I used to think Milan Michalek was a bargain @ 4 mill, he's starting to look more like a burden.

Can't really fault Pascale, he was there when we needed him. It's too bad Spezza was the only guy who looked like he cared tonight.

Can't say I'm surprised at this point.

Yeah, Clouston has to be assessed again soon. There wasn't much of a 'gameplan' tonight.

I'm not sure what to say right now, things are not clicking, it's very frustrating.

Great shootout going on right now in Nashville. Flip over if you can. Two of the best goalies stopping everything.

If they didn't register one, then I'm surprised. They had a couple great chances in the last couple minutes. Dallas did a great job of shutting it down though.

This team is way undisciplined and there are so many problems with breaking out of our zone that by the team the forwards can get the puck anywhere near the offensive zone they just dump it and head off on a line change. Things need to change with this team, there's far too much talent on the roster to be middling in mediocrity in the Eastern conference...I shudder to think how bad our record would be if we were in the West.

And can someone please tell me what this team's issue with shooting the puck is? Do they have some sort of aversion or clauses in their contract that prevent them from shooting the puck on net. We're damn near last in the league in shots for per game.

I'm starting to get sick of seeing this team with this many skill players resort to the ridiculous rim the puck around the boards and hope it ends up on someone's stick. That gameplan works for teams like the Boston Bruins who have a ton of hard nosed players on the roster. It doesn't work for a team with skill guys like Spezza, Regin, Alfredsson, Kovalev, Gonchar, Karlsson, Campoli, Shannon, etc....enough is enough of this Cussing garbage.
