Don't think so...his contract will run out before the Wild are truly ready to contend IMO.

They're not abhorrently awful contracts, but a lot can change in 13 years. I think it's foolish to have this kind of contract length at all, ever. The immediate future of the Wild looks very bright, and that is what matters...for now.
