Yeah, you can switch the lines so they're 3rd. I did that to rile you up a bit.

To Ottawa
campbell
ladd
Michalek Spezza Regin
Ladd Cullen Alfie
Fisher Winchester Kovalev
Rutuu Kelly Neil
Campbell Phillips
Karlsson Campoli
Gryba Carkner
Who thinks that team couldn't win the cup.
Ladd would be expensive as an RFA. Otherwise, yeah, that's doable. I doubt Chicago trades him or Sharp, but you never know.
I'd still rather their 1st rounder or Sharpie though.
I think 17G and 21A might get a little bit more than that if they want to eat a couple of UFA years as well.SpezDispenser wrote:Yeah, 2-2.5 sounds right. That could happen actually, that's intriguing.

I know Murray has said that Bingo is there just to develop the young guys and put them on the NHL roster but losing year after year can't be helping develop a winning culture. He's got to go out and get some talent for that team and not think only about putting potential NHLers down there to wait for their opportunity. Sign some AHL journeymen like another Hamel type of guy. Fill in the roster with some Veteran AHL players that can produce at that level. I really believe Murray needs to build a contender down there if he hopes to develop his prospects with a winning mentality.
I'm not saying do it in such a way that takes spots away from the prospects either. I'm sure you can have a winning farm team and still develop the young guys.
