You mean you're among the 20+ million who didn't see a "distinct kicking motion" from Foligno (or Sedin)?

Huh.

Two thumbs way up for the boys finding a way to get over that one and win the game, btw. That could have easily got them off their game.

I loved how in the "addendum" DVD the NHL forwarded to CBC, the example was identical to Foligno's goal. Except that in the DVD it was deemed a good goal.
Whether it be officiating or the way they go about supplementary discipline, this league is and always will be a joke.
Loved the Fisher 4 minute "high sticking" penalty too BTW....

Just to emphasize how sickening that was. IDENTICAL!!!! PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Game 5: Ottawa Senators (1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (3) - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Apr. 22nd, 2010 - Page 44 555492 It's borderline criminal. We're not talking a debatable on-ice call here. This is a goal that was overturned after a league review clearly contrary to their own interpretation of their own Diddling rule.

How about the blatant dive on the Spezza penalty>? Diddle indeed.

I could write a 10,000 word essay on how bad the officiating has been this series.

Fisher did high stick Orpik, don't know what you people were watching...he should have only got 2 minutes, because THEN Fleury knocked him into Orpik causing him to bleed.

Over the past 2 games me and my buddy have been yelling at the Sens to stop playing with our emotions PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Game 5: Ottawa Senators (1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (3) - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Apr. 22nd, 2010 - Page 44 62136

I thought it was Fisher's visor that got him. In fact, I expected a headbutting call on the play. Good catch by you, though! PLAYOFF GAME DAY: Game 5: Ottawa Senators (1) @ Pittsburgh Penguins (3) - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Apr. 22nd, 2010 - Page 44 85287

Yes, it was his visor that caused him to bleed.

The Pens did milk that one. But overall the officiating was WAY better last night then the two games before!

We gotta be bigger than the officiating.

I'm late in posting but what a game last night !

Carkner with the GWG.

Story of the game is Leclaire though. After a horrible season and bad luck injuries the guy comes out there and plays the game of his life. We played terrible in the 2nd and parts of the 3rd and he kepts us in there. Team played well in front of him too.

THe rest of the team was awesome as well (Alfie is so hurting out there).

Bring on Game 6 ! Pens aren't coasting into the 2nd round !!

Well I'm staying realistic, we still have 2 must win games, one of which is at home where we play awful.

I did predict Pascal would crash and burn out there and he proved me wrong.

It finally feels like Clouston gave his head a shake, from the play to the matchups and the goaltender change it seems we've taken control of our destiny in this series.

My pride in the Sens has gone up 1000% for them not crashing and burning like the Devils.

Even with the near constant brain farts by the referees we found a way to get it done. The entire team stepped up.

We were 26-11-4 during the regular season at home - fifth best home record in the league. Is it possible to go 0-3 at home in the playoffs? I guess we'll find out tomorrow.
