I feel bad for Donovan. He sat at the end of the bench for almost 4 periods of hockey. And what about Zack Smith? The one shift he gets sent out on in the third, Crosby scores.
Is that just poor roster management by Clouston?

This one is going back to Ottawa for one more go at it.
I did not think I would ever watch a game with refereeing as biased as that Women's Olymppic Gold Medal Game in Salt Lake City, but this one probably comes close. Anyone thinking the fix was not int, I feel sorry for *YOU*.
Are you joking me? Even in a win you still complain? Sometimes I'm so embarrassed to be a Sens fan...
I think the complaint is legitimate. Cullen getting hauled down on that pseudo-breakaway...come on. The ref couldn't have had a better vantage point on the play. And he botched the call. I don't believe that the NHL is controlling the refereeing, but is it possible that the botched refereeing is a result of corruption inside the officiating ranks?

Here's a prediction for you: OTT gets 2 penalties in the first 10 minutes of tomorrow's game, with at least one of them being dubious. Why not? It's only what's happened in just about every game this series.

What's different in last nights game is that they played like the Flyers: they didn't let the BS calls get to them

You mean you're among the 20+ million who didn't see a "distinct kicking motion" from Foligno (or Sedin)?
Huh.
Two thumbs way up for the boys finding a way to get over that one and win the game, btw. That could have easily got them off their game.

I loved how in the "addendum" DVD the NHL forwarded to CBC, the example was identical to Foligno's goal. Except that in the DVD it was deemed a good goal.
Whether it be officiating or the way they go about supplementary discipline, this league is and always will be a joke.
Loved the Fisher 4 minute "high sticking" penalty too BTW....

Just to emphasize how sickening that was. IDENTICAL!!!! It's borderline criminal. We're not talking a debatable on-ice call here. This is a goal that was overturned after a league review clearly contrary to their own interpretation of their own Diddling rule.
How about the blatant dive on the Spezza penalty>? Diddle indeed.
