Of course this win doesn't mean we win the series. But if Sens are going down, they will go with a fight! And thats all any sens fan could ask for! I'm thrilled we won tonight. And hopefully we take it to game seven. But who really knows. We've had bad luck in our own rink. lol.

This one is going back to Ottawa for one more go at it.

I did not think I would ever watch a game with refereeing as biased as that Women's Olymppic Gold Medal Game in Salt Lake City, but this one probably comes close. Anyone thinking the fix was not int, I feel sorry for *YOU*.

Are you joking me? Even in a win you still complain? Sometimes I'm so embarrassed to be a Sens fan...

I think the complaint is legitimate. Cullen getting hauled down on that pseudo-breakaway...come on. The ref couldn't have had a better vantage point on the play. And he botched the call. I don't believe that the NHL is controlling the refereeing, but is it possible that the botched refereeing is a result of corruption inside the officiating ranks?

Damn it's nice to feel proud of your team again. It felt like it had been a while.

The reffing in this series has been an embarrassment to the league IMO.

They were 26-11-4 during the regular season at home...is it possible for them to go 0-3 in the playoffs?

I really don't recall a bad game from the guy. He's a hard worker, he obviously brought that work ethic from Carolina (who was turning it around big time) to Ottawa. That is contagious stuff, he's a good influence, always looks dangerous, creative, defensive. I genuinely think that for the money, he's a no brainer on this team.

No, conspiracy theories are completely ridiculous. Even if the refs decided to rig a game by calling a Dung of penalties on 1 team and none on the other team, that team still has to actually capitalize and score the PP goals.

Besides, the refs let everything go in the 2nd and 3rd OT's. Some blatant Ottawa penalties were let go to let the game flow.

I dont see any Alfi in Regin, sorry. Regin is a different player.

Huh, I don't really see why. When Regin's puck possession skills improve, I think they'll be similar. Whatever though, call him a poor man's Zetterberg then, still works for me. Ahhhhh!

Their games are totally different. They may very well have the same attitude, work ethic, and heart, but they play a different style.

Its true, they should win. They are usually great at home. But the playoffs is a totally different ball game. Sens have what it takes to win it, we just need to bring it! With some solid goaltending and a little more scoring from the Sens!

Regin reminds me of Mike Modano a bit, but not as fast. Maybe a bit like T.J. Oshie?

I don't want to explain in detail how rigged refereeing could impact a game, so I'll use the Fisher penalty as an example. They make a clearly erroneous call and then try to create a make up call with the Staal penalty. The problem is, you still end up with Mike Fisher in the penalty box for nearly 5.5 minutes. Even though they are playing four on four at that point, you're still missing a key player and have to therefore shuffle your lines, adjust matchups, manage ice time more closely, etc.

The physical aspect of Regin's game?

No wait, take a look at Patrik Berglund and I think you have your Regin clone!

That might be a little similar but I think Regin gets in on the forcheck better then Alfi did at his age, perhaps better period.

LOL Donovan and Smith played around 4 minutes each, roughly 1-2% of the entire game.

Yeah, it'll be nice when he fills out.

I feel bad for Donovan. He sat at the end of the bench for almost 4 periods of hockey. And what about Zack Smith? The one shift he gets sent out on in the third, Crosby scores.

Is that just poor roster management by Clouston?
