All Playoff talk all the time.

Savard is basically a Spezza clone. Mainly a playmaker, hasn't won anything, isn't a leader, etc.

Perfect you said that because I can argue this all day.

1) Savard is a better player
2) He makes less
3) He works on ever facet of the game and plays on PK and PP

I'll take Savard 100 times of 100 over Spezza. Savard has turned himself into one of the most well rounded centers in the game.

If you are talking bang for the buck it isnt even close. Savard at 7 mil would be better then Spezza at 7 mil too. His production didnt decrease because he was asked to play defense, hell it got better!

Savard is an example of what a player like Spezza can do if he truly wants to.

Haha, I don't disagree with anything else you wrote, but that came across as humourous to me.

In regards to Spezza vs Savard though, the upside to Spezza is that he's significantly younger and can 'grow into' the player Savard is.

Savard was bounced around the league a little before it happend. Spezza's sense of security in Ottawa might be hurting him more then anything else. That's not changing if that NTC kicks aka doomsday in Ottawa.

I'm soooo happy for savard. That team looked SOOO happy for him! Awesome!!!

The excitement and emotion Savard showed was truly amazing. That was a huge goal for him. It was awesome to see him get congratulated by his teammates.
