If he does come back for the Conference Finals, it really isn't a big loss.

If he doesn't, Crosby can replace him on the PK, and I am sure they will put somebody else like Talbot or Adams on the third line.

Although Bylsma is not ruling out him getting back to play in the playoffs, I don't think it will be in this round, and maybe not even the ECF.

That is at best a rumour and hear-say. Fact of the matter is Crosby was more concerned about getting his visor off then the game, if anything Savard got him off his game if it is indeed true.

More then Spezza did agaisnt him anyways.

Savard is basically a Spezza clone. Mainly a playmaker, hasn't won anything, isn't a leader, etc.

3) He works on ever facet of the game and plays on PK and PP

I'll take Savard 100 times of 100 over Spezza. Savard has turned himself into one of the most well rounded centers in the game.

If you are talking bang for the buck it isnt even close. Savard at 7 mil would be better then Spezza at 7 mil too. His production didnt decrease because he was asked to play defense, hell it got better!

Savard is an example of what a player like Spezza can do if he truly wants to.
