I absolutely hated it. It's so obvious that Clouston has his mind made up about Leclaire it's not even funny. I really like Brian Elliott but he's been give the opportunity time and time again while Leclaire always seems to get the short end of the stick (Yes I know injuries played a big part into this). I now know we will probably never see what Leclaire could have truly done now that Clouston has completely ruined him. Way to go Cory.

Hey man, I think Leclaire has every tool to be an elite goaltender, but lets face the facts here, there is no reason he should be in nets right now. Elliott has been the biggest reason for the team winning and Leclaire hasnt earned anything but a start tonight where he faultered.

Did he pull him too quick, absolutely but hey, if the guy doesnt believe in him, then what's the point? Elliott is the number 1 and he should be.

Would you have taken the chance to keep Leclaire in though? I'm definitely not saying this should be his last start or anything, just that tonight was not his night (nor was it his Ds).

Not sure, coaches call there. The team doesnt play well in front of Leclaire and right now he is the backup. No reason to start him again, as for getting pulled, I dont know... I wouldnt have but Clouston doesnt believe in Leclaire at all and has even gone as far to rip his practices, not just the game. By the sounds of it from the post game show, Leclaire could very well be a problem in the locker room right now... hope that's not the case.

Pretty bad when the only positive I can find in terms of forwards are a guy that's been here for 4 games and Jason Spezza.

As frustrated I am with this loss, we can't get down right now. Sure, if we've played like Dung for the past 4 or 5 games but we've got some time to get some chemistry going with some of the new guys before the playoffs start. I'll give it a couple more games before you hit the panic button. This team has skill, it may seem distant now because of the Olympics but we won 13 games in a row, I know we can be a top 3-4 team in this conference. A little adversity going into the playoffs doesn't always hurt.

Why, what are they saying about Leclaire in the post-game show?

No reason to hit the panic button but when you see awful efforts like that it's tough not to be pissed off.

Saturday they better come out with the effort of the year before this comes off the rails. After Saturday night it's 11 of the last 16 on the road, that's not exactly an ideal the way The Sens play on the road.

Yeah for sure, every team goes through these. We have to believe in the system - to be a cliche - and work really hard next game and from here on in.

Just the way things have done in practive and the way he looked back at the bench. I agree, pulling Leclaire that early did nothing in a positive sense for the team and only bad things are gonna come from it.

Anyways, I think this will be one year and done for Leclaire in Ottawa, I dont see him playing here next year the way Clouston always goes to Elliott. Elliott has the confidence of the team and organization, and rightfully so.

Such a smart move by Murray having Elliott sign a 2 year deal and being able to make the choice between Elliott or Leclaire when their contracts expire.

Fair enough I guess, I have no issue with Clouston pulling Leclaire that quick because I felt the team needed a wake-up call and Leclaire wasn't getting it done. But, I can see where people would think 7 minutes is ridiculous for sure.

That was too soon to pull Leclaire from my perspective and it didnt help the team turn it around. The fact The Sens were in the game with 8 mins left is a small miracle.

The only thing that can be taken from this game is Elliott is the go to guy and will be the rest of the way. I dont see Leclaire getting anything but selected starts.

Yeah, whatever was left of the 'goaltending controversy' died tonight I think.

Extra money to play with this summer once we trade Leclaire, that's a bright side I guess.

Leclaire wont go for more then Justin Pogge at this point.

I would be Brodure is the backup in Ottawa next year, the potential is there for sure.
