Good thing we picked up Sutton and Cullen then. Sarcasm

In typical Ottawa fashion, their "#1" was yanked and the other "#1" came in and played well.

I'm still stinging from last night. Damn.

Can we make a knee-jerk move for a top line LW?

Not until we're a team not named the Ottawa Senators. LOL.

I probably shouldn't complain, this team is very well run.

Can you think of anyone who was slightly less Dung than the other pieces of Dung on that frozen sheet of toilet water tonight? GAME DAY:New York Rangers @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30PM EST. TUE. Mar 2, 2010 - Page 12 932508

Leclaire had some nice reflexes Sarcasm

I've always stated that that is his best asset. The positioning and tendency to be off his feet is a problem. He was rolling around again last night.

There was one play, where the forward shot wide, but because of his flexibility and quickness he actually got a pad on it. Trouble is, he *almost* deflected it right to the late guy. If he left it alone it would have gone harmlessly in the corner. Instead, it was >this< close to being a wide open net rebound goal.

I was at the game last night. Great start, but then about half-way through the first I looked up and the Rangers were leading in shots on goal. I said uh-oh.

I didn't think Lee played all that badly at all. A-Train, on the other hand. Ugh. Both he and Alfie looked like they were still in the Pacific Time Zone. I think Volchenkov's troubles started even before Clouston split him and Phillips up. Although you have to wonder, would it have made a difference if he kept them together and double-shifted Karlsson? Between that and Fonzie calling the timeout when the Sens started kicking it back into gear (it was still 1-1 at the time), I'm inclined to say Clouston got out-coached.

Oh, yeah, Spezza was flying out there. Skating hard in all three directions (the third being back to the bench on a change), even made a few hits. Karlsson was fantastic -- he hasn't missed a beat.
