A second is pretty expensive for Leopold, not a big fan of his.

Sexton is doing a good job stacking up the 2nd rounders in exhange for mediocre players (Moore and now Leopold)

I don't understand, Dallas re-signs Ott for 3 million a year X 4 years, does that mean that the budget is there to keep Robidas?

So far I don't quite understand the moves made. Leopold for a 2nd? Really? 3 million bucks for Steve Ott (and I like his game a lot) seems a little high as well.

Neil has turned his game up big time, very pleasing. Ruutu is amazing. Ott is slightly more offensive, but 3 million? Gah.

Leopold worth a 2nd round pick, so one of the top 60 picks? Gah.

Matt Stajan worth 3.5 million a year? Gah X 10.

Yeah, he's making some really questionable moves. When you trade for a bunch of guys and one of them in a UFA, you have very little choice but to meet his demands so you don't look dumb - I guess, that's the case.

some desperate moves by desperate GM's perhaps? more importantly, what will take for Ottawa to get Weber? his play at the big tourney in Vancouver had me drooling.
