- Leclaire
- Kovalev
- Spezza
Anton is making 3.2M this year, those people hoping for less than 3.5 are kidding themselves. I honestly think he is gonzo. Maybe 3.5 is doable, but I doubt he takes it. I think he might need to be dealt at the deadline.

Ive been saying this since August, A Train is going to get paid way more then he is actually worth, and in all fairness, who would turn down millions of dollars?

I dont know if you trade him now because of the playoff run but you might have to consider it.

A good guy to look at picking up to repalce A Train would be Michalek from Phoenix, obvious insentives to come here.

I think he needs to be dealt at the deadline, no more losing guys for nothing unless we are making a cup run. As nice as a 7 game win streak is, we are not making a run this year.

Source?

Dont have a source, just expressing my thought that he would be the one to be moved since his NTC will be lifted at seasons end.

He would turn down 3.75 from us? If so, then we have no choice. We can swap his rights for Michalek's rights before July 1 and get to work. I'd actually prefer Michalek, it's close though, a lot closer than people are gonna say. There's this halo of awesomeness around Michalek that isn't quite accurate. He's really, really good, better than A-Train, but he's not the be all to end all.

Secondly, would he actually come here? I'm so sick of thinking a guy would come here because of this, that or the other. I'm curious if he would actually want to come to our organization, because I tell you, he's a damn lot better than Kuba.

How about pairing him with our first at the draft for Erik Gudbranson. Obviously Volchie would have to be signed. I love Volchie, always have, but if we could land Gudbranson I would be willing to trade a lot. The kid has size, skill, toughness, and character. Check this out:
