"Top O' the mornin' to ya! GAME DAY: New Jersey Devils @ Ottawa Senators - 7:30pm ET - THU. Mar. 15, 2011 Leprechaun6"

The Ottawa Senators (25-36-9, 59 pts) host the still red hot New Jersey Devils (33-32-4, 70 pts) Thursday night. Ottawa has started to look more like a team filled with rookies and more like the team that struggled most of the season. Pittsburgh owned them on Tuesday night and controlled most of that game despite their rash of injuries.

The Devils, in my opinion, are a day late and a dollar short when it comes to their attempt at making the playoffs but will, never the less, be a team desperate to get the win tonight especially after losing at home to these very same Senators in their last meeting.

This is a must-lose, especially if CM starts in goal. We have to use this Matrix injury to lose some games while we can.

It's not like Anderson helped us win the last two so I'm not overly worried. Ottawa is crashing back to earth and are playing like one would expect.

Ottawa is still an awful team without any real offensive threat aside from Spezza. Only so much he can do on most nights.

I didn't mean to come across crapping on Matrix. All I was trying to say was he was playing ridiculous hockey and getting us wins. Now he's closer to human and maybe in a bit of a slump so it wouldn't worry me to have either goalie in the net because it's still likely a loss.

I don't think anyone expected Anderson to keep up his 960 save %.
