Thanks Tim. I agree, it would be a nice gimmick for a change, and I am sure they could even sell a few as a result. The Leafs have their St. Pats jersey, but obviously a little different since it is part of their franchise's history somewhat.

Here's what the jerseys could look like:

The white jersey with green trim (where the red is now), coupled with the green logo you created would look pretty slick.

This was the first Delissio pic I could find. Coincidence... BUT, yes I have tried it. Sauce is ketchupy.

Wearing these jerseys once a year would be fun for the fans I would think. Kind of like the Mississauga Majors (and I think some other teams) that have done the Paint the Rink Pink campaign for Breast Cancer. They literally paint the rink pink (the white to pink) and they replace the white in their jerseys with pink. Looks cool, and they sell the jerseys.

Yep, that's the one. It's a sharp looking jersey, and if they tied it in with some sort of charity, it'd be great!

They could even use it during a think green campaign.
