If we actually do see Mike Brodeur than I totally agree with you.

Leclaire took a shot in practice and Elliott is sick.

WTF?

Are they gonna put Brodeur on the 4th line too? GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ New York Rangers - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Jan. 14th, 2010 - Page 7 270956
No, he goes right to the TOP!!!

If he can't score and doesn't want to go into the dirty areas to get loose pucks, do we put him on the point to "shake things up"?

You never know. Maybe Brodeur being in net can help our PP and help the team score some goals? Sarcasm

LeClaire or Elliot better friggin play. They are not going to get better by avoiding the ice. Get out there and stop the puck. Do your job don't worry about anything else. Same can be said to every Senator. Do your own job. Dropping your head down as soon as a bad goal goes in does nothing for anyone other than to perpetuate losing. Take care of your own yard because there is a lot of blame to go around. Goalies are letting in bad goals sure but they can't win games in which we score one goal. So scorers score, grinders, grind, fighters fight, defence play defence and everybody shut up and stop pointing fingers.

The Sun is reporting that Mike Brodeur has indeed been recalled. Leclaire is definitely hurt and Elliott has the flu.

Not sure if Elliott plays but Leclaire is definitely not. Kuba will also miss tonights game.

The sad part is, analysts are only going to look at the end results in the standings and toot their own horns: "We told you they'd finish near the bottom of the league."

And no one will care that we're verging on the most injured club in the league this year.

That would suck, but I still think this is a playoff team. Things just need to stabilize and I'm convinced "looking to next season" isn't an option due to attendance.

Give me a Diddling break with the Diddling injuries. You are useless Leclaire. Completely useless.

Thank goodness we got Lehner out of that trade.

I'd start Brodeur personally.

To think, none of the injuries he's suffered are a reoccurence of this previous problems. Remember when that was the big worry? GAME DAY: Ottawa Senators @ New York Rangers - 7:00pm ET - Thu. Jan. 14th, 2010 - Page 7 270956

With our luck these days... I'd say the odds of anything going wrong is VERY GOOD.

We now have over 24M of cap space injured and another 8M of wasted cap space on the ice (27/41). This is getting funny. If we put everyone on LTIR we could have added Crosby, Malkin and Ovechkin under the cap.
