Umm, not sure where you've been, but it's been like that for a while.

I know I'm just asking the question because it's just gotten so frustrating.

The new NHL rewards teams that suffer for consecutive years, which you can see clearly in the Chicago's, and Washington's of the league. I'd like to see what anybody else could have done in Murray's shoes. Heatley? Kovalev (who was urged by the OWNER, his BOSS)?

There's not a lot you can do in those situations. I think Murray's done a great job, and if all of these injuries never occurred and we remained at .500 since, we'd be in 3rd/4th place, and nobody would be saying Dung.

Start thinking rationally people.

And no, I'm not related to Bryan Murray

Murray has had plenty of opportunites to improve the defense but balked at the price every time. He got his priorities wrong and it's costing us.

Also, Murray isn't here to rebuild either. He was brought in to win us a cup. If we are going to rebuild it's going to have to be a new GM.

i don't think it's as easy as you guys are making it out to be. what they gave cambell is way to high. i agre that guys like kelly, neil, kuba should of never gotten the raise/money they got. to be honest i still think we could deal without neil. don't get me wrong i love the guy but we've got carkner to fight and ruutu to instigate... that 2 mill could be used on somone else combined with waiving cheechoo.
I am coming to the slow realization that depth is very overrated in the NHL with the Cap.

You want a #1 DMan, you pay whatever it takes. You want a top 3 forward, you pay whatever it takes. The only position that is different is in goal.

00:14 in. That's just wrong. Cherry should talk to them for rubbing it in. Hope the guy didn't celebrate.

It's not as easy as we've made it out to be but Boyle said we were one of the teams on his list and all Murray had to do was make an offer. He declined. Who in their right mind would do that when we are losing Redden (who wasn't very good but he should have been replaced) and Meszaros? He should have relished the opportunity to get a guy like Boyle. All it would have costed us was Meszaros.

I really don't think it's the goalies. It's something else. What that is I can only think coaching. Elliott was a promising young goalie who was embarrassingly good in the AHL and played pretty well last season. Leclaire has had some solid games when healthy in Columbus. Emery has played well in Philly. There's something going on and it's not the goalies. I truly believe that.

How does a goalie coach with these results keep his job ?

How does an assistant in charge of OUR PP and OUR D keep his job ?

Loyalty. Murray's great flaw. I hate to say it but we may need to make a change at the top before long.
