I think it's 887.

Either way, I'd sooner see him paid that dough in the AHL than have a team get him for nothing. He could be very valuable to his team in Bingo, by the way.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I'm not sure the order of the waiver list anymore, but you'd have to be a complete fool not to add Schubert to your depth for 450K. The Islanders used their waiver claim already, one of the next 5 teams is taking him, no question. And this comes with a thousand curses. 🇬🇬

750 curses if it isn't San Jose.

The first thing I thought of was, there goes Bingo's 2nd best D-man. Diddle, this wreaks. I hope in future contracts are taken care of with much more thought and precision. Kelly is included here as a Dung contract.

No, ten thousand curses if it's San Jose.

Who really expected him to play in Bingo? What about "we won't pay NHL money to play in the AHL" is confusing? Schubert on Re-Entry - Page 2 89286

According to Brent Wallace the Senators have placed Christoph Schubert on re-entry waivers. You would think there must be a team interested for Murray to make this move. Word is a Western Conferece team has interest in Schubert.

How diddling cheap do you have to be?

Smells like San Jose to me. He can improve what they currently have. Their botton 2 are on two-way deals.

well I guess we shall see when the dust settles, what is the time frame on someone being put on re-entry waivers? 24 or 48 hours?

If San Jose picks him up, I wouldn't be surprised.

At least he wasn't involved in the Heatley trade to lessen the return. That 2nd would be a 4th if Schubert was in there.

At 883, Schubert is an asset to a playoff team. Not a liability. Schubert has the ability to steamroll opponents and just flat-out piss them off because he won't fight.

It's Nashville apparently, but that's still just a rumour.

Notoriously cheap. If anyone could have used Heatley, it was them. No surprise this cheap Donkey move fits like a glove.

I have a hard time getting mad at them...they're so sorry in the first place. I dunno, I'm not pleased, but at the same time, Nashville is so....neutral, you know? :^^^^:

$833,333.

But I bet Shabbs beat me to it already.

He's a decent player when placed in the right situations, but he is a drain on any potential return in a trade. He has negative value right now. Last year, he couldn't even crack the Sens lineup in as either a D-man or a forward. Thats pretty sad.

Let's not make him out to be something he's not...He's a negative asset on the Sens, hence the negative return of 400K+ just to get rid of him.

I had them pegged as THE team that could clear up the Heatley mess. I'm less pissed about them picking up Schubert. But pissed nonetheless. Schubert on Re-Entry - Page 2 68747

Me too, I'm still pissed, there's no way around it.
