as far as our roster Melnyk can run his mouth as much as he wants but if BM says write a check Melnyk will write that check.
they're not fools, if they can land a star player, they will. they know how hard it is and how tough is the competition to land star players.

that said I don't think we land Parise or Suter.

He said it all depended on the responsibilities he had. He will end up with an NHL team somewhere... just like Eakins in Toronto... but it would be as an assistant....

If they don't think Gryba is an NHL player or he has been passed on the depth chart might be better off going out and get a vet AHL D man that can carry the back end.

As for Claeson, Murray snapped up another NHLer in the 5th round. Kid is good.

If they aren't keeping Gryba I hope the trade him ASAP. Trade his RFA rights to a team for a vet d-man or whatever piece you need.
