I'm wondernig if we're not going to see a post on sportstalkbuzz soon which defends kevin's story and bashes those who denounce it. While he has deleted the account you can always request the ip address for the user that created it as well as his post from the company that maintains the site. If it's a bell ip address, I can tell you exactly who it belongs to (I still have some pull at Bell.ca).

All this to say I think it's either Kevin, or someone who is close to him.

No kidding. Not to mention the last little while he was blogging at HB, my God, it was just atrocious to read his stuff: all negativity sprinkled with a touch of cynicism. It made my head hurt to read his incoherent points as well.

Yeah, and he was big time wrong on that. Him and Eklund hand in hand in terms of "breaking news".

The funny thing is, he stole Chirps erroneous report on that. Talk about dominoes! Luckily Kevin Lie and Eklund didn't really have a reputation to damage. Chirp didn't do so good...

Oh, wah, cry me a river.

Um...was it not you that just a few pages back ripped on someone for bashing K.Lee without knowing him personally? And now you're bashing another rumor reporter...ada boy...keep building that rep...

You and the many pathetic people who have message board muscles and all you do is rip on others when you don't know them personally. You are quite sad and must be looking for something to define yourself since you are a loner.

Just going through this thread now and, though I realise the issue is probably already dead since this guy's name has changed to just "Guest," I thought I'd point out something interesting.

This very phrase ("message board muscles") was just used, very recently, by Eklund in his Twitter box thing, which shows up at the bottom of his 'posts' over at HB. I don't know how popular a phrase it is. I'm just saying.

It would be kind of weird for Eklund to come to Kevin Lie's defense though. More to come...

Huh? I can't find it. However Google has been acting funny today (earlier could not find google.com but google.ca resolved right away).

Yes. They're small and weak.

I saw the phrase, in two different Eklund twitters, when I went to the site this morning. They're still there, about middle of the page on the Twitter box thing:

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?blogger_id=1

It won't let me cut and paste, but here's a transcription:

"@Veronica v, I so agree. 'message board muscles.' People are so vapid and just longing for anything to define themselves.

@Eklund v, I so agree. 'message board muscles.' People are sad."

[both listed as "14 hours ago", relative to the time of this here post that I'm putting up.]

You're right. Those are the exact words used by that user today. WOW. Gotta be Ek, or the guy that Twitters for Ek, but why would he get all crazy when I suggest where the sportstalkbuzz servers are located? Strange...

Here it is from his Twitter account:

Holy Dung!

from douchefish:

You and the many pathetic people who have message board muscles and all you do is rip on others when you don't know them personally. You are quite sad and must be looking for something to define yourself since you are a loner.

Even worse, looks like Eklund is having a conversation with himself under two names!!! Pretty sick stuff.
