I've heard from a couple of people that he was banned from the Scotiabank press area a couple of years ago. If true, that could be his motivation for continuously trashing the organization.

I was under the impression Ek stopped paying him... I remember the constant barrage of jersey's for sale etc... and I don't think Ek like that too much.
