Actually, Cowen accidentally shot a puck at the glass where Sensgirl11 was standing if I remember correctly.

No, I know he was in full gear so he had obviously skated. I just didn't see him take part in any of the full drills (with everyone on the ice). Perhaps he skated by himself or in a smaller group. He definitely indicated in his interview that he hasn't yet fully tested the knee.

I think the Senators top prospect #2 is Ilja Zubov. He's just ready to play at this point. He's a smart two-way forward with top 6 upside. The problem is, we don't see enough of him because of the logjam we have at center with Mike Fisher making too much money and producing too little to be centering our second line. Although with Vermette having been traded, Zubov might see an opportunity to play this year on a consistent basis.

As for Karlsson, I think he has the potential to be a top pairing defenseman, a serious PP QB with 50+ point upside. This guy is going to be spearheading the transition game in Ottawa for a long, long time.

I didn't vote last time, but I would have gone with Erik Karlsson. He's by far our top prospect, as nobody else (except for maybe #2) gets as much attention as him. He was the best defenceman in the WJC which says a lot.

And, with that, our #2 is.... Jared Cowen. Many believe had he not suffered the season ending knee injury, he'd have been a top 5 pick for sure. And it looks like Ottawa got yet again another steal. He's said to be 100%, so that is good news for fans. This guy won't put up huge points, but that doesn't mean he cannot. Also, his physical play ignites his teams transition game, so he and Karlsson will be a huge part of any success our team has in the future.

Good take on Cowen Dash, he has the potential to be something really special.

This is possibly the final day (I think) to vote. Vote away so we can do Prospect 3.
