Senators Top Prospect #4

This means:

-who you think has the best potential in the long run. The blue-chippers. The guys who are our jewels in the crown.

So far we have:

2.Jared Cowen
3.Patrick Wiercioch

The potential is for this to get awfully close from here on out.

This is getting tough.... I don't know if I know enough about our prospects one way or the other after our top 3 to speak about them confidently.

I had to go with Regin. He, along with Caporusso and Karlsson, is the only Sens prospect in the top 50 of Dobber's prospect report for this year.

Honourable mentions to Smith, Lehner, and Zubov. Zubov, btw, has to make something happen this year, or he may be done.

I agree, I think after the first three picks it's a bit of a crapshoot. I went with Silfverberg, partly because he seems to have some good potential and partly because he has a cool name. But obviously I have no idea as I imagine most people don't.

Hands down this is Lehner for me. If what I saw from him at Development Camp is any kind of indication of how good he is going to be when he makes the big leagues, this guy is destined to be as big of a star as a Vokoun or even a Lundqvist. Superstar qualities in this young man. And he's so young at this point that he is only going to get bigger and better. Very, very, very excited about him, even more so than I am about Elliott. I believe Lehner will push Elliott right out of the starter spot when he gets his chance.

I went with Lehner. I guess I got tired of voting for Caporusso

Zack Smith - the most likely candidate to make the team out of all those guys.

Gritty as Dung too. Wouldn't mind taking your teeth out to score apparently.

This is easily Lehner for me, not even a 2nd thought. We've got the next big Swedish thing in nets in 3 or 4 years IMO.

I went with O'Brien. I guess he's not as good as I thought?

choice is getting very tough, went with Regin this time around as he is the most NHL ready of the other guys listed, IMHO that is. Zack Attack is right there too.

I will abstain since I believe Cowen belongs here. I see him being our future Chris Phillips.

He apparently looks great this year. I didn't see him at DC (they were in another facility we think), but people who did, loved what they saw.

He's a good pick, I just like Lehner more. I'd rank O'Brien pretty high up though.
