Agreed.
What's more, I've been saying this precisely since the moment the news hit, in the strongest terms.
I take it that this means that I now have the right to gloat without end, and crown myself with my complimentary, impending GM Hockey hat, right?

Murray wants to deal Heatley but he doesn't wanna get fleeced in the
deal and so far the offers hes getting are no where near what he was
hoping for. Word is either 3 or 4 teams (Los Angeles, Minnesota,
Edmonton and perhaps Chicago) have been in contact with Murray about
Heatley and none have tabled an offer close to what Murray is looking
for.
Murray went public yesterday saying that he spoke to one of Heatley's
agent and they told him that several teams had contacted them
expressing interest. Problem is those teams haven't contacted the
Senators. It seems as though teams are trying to wait Murray out and
try to force him into a situation where he has to make a deal out of
desperation. Not gonna happen...

Not a big fan of Kadri's either but it could happen. A lot of people are saying the Sens are very interested in him.

If that is a legit offer vs L.A.'s offer of Frolov, Teubert/Hickey and their 5th overall pick... I can probably be convinced that Murray should go with the Blackhawks...
Would love to know if that's a real offer from Chicago.

Heh, I'm pretty sure I could find some posts where I say that Spezza wouldn't be the one traded, NTC or no NTC.

It would be even better if MPS slipped down to 9

This comes from SpezD...but at this point we don't know if it's an 'actual' rumour. He hasn't told us yet where he got the 'info'.
