Dregor just said that there's a 'mystery team' in play. Doesn't know who it is. This was on 590 Leaf's Lunch or whatever it's called.

Sharp is $3.9, Seabrook is $3.5 and Bolland is unsigned. With his numbers he should be getting $2 (more if he has arbitration rights).

That's too much salary, we would have to send some back. As much as I like the players mentioned, I would still prefer picks and prospects.

The LA deal is the perfect one for me. Ill take Teubert over Hickey (too small -- we already have a couple of undersized D-men).

Are we sure we'd be getting the right Frolov though? I see three Alexander Frolovs in Hockeydb, two of them born in '82. One of those two was still playing in Russia up until 2007, and not exactly lighting it up.

Don't get over-excited until the deal is announced. It could be a crushing blow after what we've recently heard.

Could we even afford this under the cap? I haven't checked the numbers but it seems we'd be taking on salary to do this.

Staal I would like to have, but Drury is overpaid no matter how you slice it. Their first is also in the teens, so there are better deals to be had imo.

It's going to be a sexy package no doubt. The talk of Sharp and Seabrook along with Bolland seems ridiculous to me. Sharp and Seabrook alone come in at a cap hit of $7.4 million. We still have other holes to fill/players to sign.

If Edmonton wants to pony up Gagner instead of Cogs, I'd down with this deal, even though that 5th from LA looks so damn appetizing.

I wasn't making any references about YOU. Nor was I saying that I called anything. I was simply responding to N4L's claim that he somehow called this and that we ought to fellate him for it The deal, as many of us have speculated isn't any great feat of prognostication. It's simply common sense.
