I don't suspect to hear much from Clouston, especially while Heatley remains Sens property. I think Spezza is doing the right thing by not saying anything. Distancing himself from Heatley is the smart move here for Spezza.

It definitely shows some maturity on his part, which is great to see, that is what we need more than anything right now, we need spezza to mature and be a leader.

So what happens now? The Hawks have countered with Sharp and Seabrook.

Murray has apparently said that while the deal is excellent, they lack the pick that he covets - to which, apparently, Tallon stepped up and added Bolland.

Any truth to this? I doubt it, but it comes from quite a reliable show - the same show I believe that broke this rumour in the first place. The kind of guys who know McAlpine and Barry, very, very well and would be getting somewhat of an inside scoop.

Anyway, I would poop my pantaloons if the Chicago deal is true - I'm banking on that being BS while Murray tries to trump up added interest from the other two players.

Funny that the other two offers are exactly what we all thought!

So SpezD, is all of the above something you actually listened to, or is all of this from the HF poster you referred to?

Yeah, I recall I couple other incidents similar to this coming from that poster.

Ummm. If this is all a bogus rumor, SpezD is just as bad as the poster who started it. I don't care what you guys say. I come to this site to read facts and knowledgable opinions, not 8 pages of something that turned out to be just like Eklund's crap.

Relax a little. The prerogative of much of the membership on this forum is to gather information from hundreds of sources and allow the posters to debate, discuss and sift through the rumours.

If you believe every rumour you read, they you are just as guilty in this fingerpointing as anyone else.

Enjoy this website for what it is...don't make it into something it's not.

Easy, there, MASH. SD has contributed nearly 200 times as many posts to this site as you have. While it's true that, perhaps, a little more verification was in order, it really is not for you to call him out on it.

I try to find out as much as I can rumour wise - whether it comes from HF, from friends there, friends here, or other newspapers, what the hell is it to you? What did you think this was in the first place? Iron clad? Just because NHL Live apparently reports something, you're gonna take it as the gospel?

How about this: relax, be thankful that there's a site to talk Sens hockey and how about this:

Why don't you try to be grateful, just once in a while, for the people who work their arses off to maintain this site, make sure that any false reporting is called out, try to find stories for you, try to entertain you and absolutely know what they're talking about.
