What Should Bryan Murray Do About Dany Heatley?

I meant two weeks into the regular season Two weeks from now, Heatley will be getting heckled in the parking lot of SBP...by Nick Foligno and Chris Neil...

Seriously though, you remember those last ten games last season? Not fun to watch...and especially not the last one where DH was skating around waving his stick in the air, looking for that 40th goal...and being ignored...
You don't want that kind of disconnect happening again this year.

Ignored by whom? It seemed to me like all the players were focussing on was getting Heatley that 40th goal.

Hmmm....not so sure about that one.
Anyway, no sense in being pessimistic.
Just curious to see what happens.

Here's the logic:
Heatley wants the Olympics. He will play well.
Heatley playing well means the Sens will be winning.
Other players want to win. They will accept Heatley regardless of his trade request.

That's one of those things that I could see leading to a trade demand.

I agree with the logic. If playing well doesn't involve any form of hard work, I think Clouston will trim back his time though.

Clouston will limit his ice time regardless, I believe, and Heatley will know his place on this team. The others will know it too.

well that is a hell of a lot better than the whole messing around with other teammate's girls rumours that some people on other sites have been pushing as the cause.

Really? To me, this tells the big guys to keep underachieving, because only lower level guys will pay the price.

That's where I would disagree. Clouston, unlike Heatley, is about team success. If he sees that Heatey is doing something to help the team win he'll use that asset as much as possible.
