Regier just might consider The Gerbinator...

It's either that for free (meaning losing nothing) or make a push for Bulin out of Chicago, Bulin might be the better option, but would cost you something.

Most importantly of all, though:

Brodeur, after missing 50+ games, comes back and promptly shuts out the Avs.

Brodeur now has 99 career shut-outs, which I believe is only 3 behind Terry Sawchuk. He's also only 6 wins behind tying Patrick Roy. He should set that record this season.

You were pretty close, he is only 4 behind Sawchuk, and the way he showed last night, he could have it beat before the season is done, if not, playoff hockey is around the corner. roy's record will be beaten by mid march.
