i dont think they played like crap they didnt play the best game ever either especially in the third period when the first 10 minutes was all in our end
def, we need to clear everyone that's not on board for next year. i do hope they re-sign comrie and not trade him, obviously depending on the price. 2.5 tops...cash wrote:Let's put it this way: It was good enough to beat a Dung Carolina team (who shouldn't even be in the same class as us, let alone a class above) and it was good enough to get the Dung beaten out of us on Thursday against the Sharks.
If that game brings on the "there's still hope" sentiment, then that person's opinion is immediately worth less, going forward... This team is a seller and nothing that happens before March 4th should change that. I will be pissed if Kuba and Neil aren't gone by then. Likewise if Comrie isn't re-signed or sold... We can trade a big name player at the draft, but right now is just some subtle house cleaning.
Sidenote: Once Neil and (if) Comrie are gone, there will only be 9 players left from the Cup run...

i like that every win the sens get gives them a chance to build chemistry for next year, but i'm not too fond of moving up in the standings. anyways, even if we got a good pick this year it wouldn't do much for the team next year, but what happens from now till the end of the season does....
therefor, i'm happy :D

I get your point but I am not too sure there is an Ovechkin in this draft. It is a strong talent poolbut I am not sure Hedman or Tavares = Ovechkin and we probably won't finsish in a spot for either without trading up.
