Three goals in less than a minute. And it's probably not even a record for one guy scoring all three.

Edit: Bill Mosienko, 3 goals in 21 seconds. Geez, what did he do the rest of his shift, coast?

2 points already by my boy Tony V :afro:
And 2 beauties of assists, not secondary ones that mislead stats.

a good first period....2 assists for vermette spezza had a pretty good first he fought for the puck...lee had a strong one too hitting people to make a play leads to a goal and a smart play up the boards

Not watching the game (later, on PVR) but checking the stats. Spezza had less ice time than Vermette and Kelly, and there was only one penalty called to each side. Another message?

Spezza is not playing amazing but he was fightin for the puck and hit someone and seems to be trying tonight at least more so than the last couple games

I love Comrie's comments about the Sens organization being 1st class.

I'd think it was a case of playing the hot line (Kelly, Vermette with a goal each) but Heatley had more than a minute extra ice time over Spezza. Mind you, Dany has been known to prolong his shifts once in a while.

Verms has two assists not a goal but the point is well taken clouston seems like the type of coach to go with the best playing line not the big three just because they are the big 3

Just checked the shift chart and it looks like both Alfie and Heatley got some PK time (not together) while Spezza sat.
