of the "core", the guys that could/should/will be moved are Vermette, Kuba,
Neil (but I'd want him to re-sign here july 1st), and of course, Spezza for the right price....

if Murray's going to trade THAT many players, he needs bodies coming back too, not just picks. If he can swing some sort of miracle and get JBow in a 3way for Spezza, then great. If not, something like that....

Like they were talking about on the Team today: Boston,detroit,SJ, Anaheim,....all built with defence first. Get some horses back there and the forwards will figure it out....

Worry about replacing the 1st line centre July first but try to get your Norris Dman before...

What we know for sure is that nobody knows for sure.

I'll wait to see what actually occurs and evaluate the moves. So far Murray hasn't impressed me with what he's been able to accomplish with the current roster.

I still don't think there is too much that is going to happen here...but I could be wrong. We really need to focus on getting a bonafide PMD and then go from there.

We'll see how the team responds to the coach in the next 10 games, things should be much clearer by then. If we win 5 of 10...it's a start. Any more than that and we're golden, and we'll see that the coach was one of the main problems for this team.

I know you're right; I'm just incredibly frustrated. 95%+ of the population won't make enough to match the interest on what Heatley or Spezza will earn for this season, yet as fans we have to put up with what appears to be some serious indifference.

So you believe Heatley will waive to go to the Island?
And you want to bring Todd White into a rebuild?
And you want to trade Calgary's 1st for SJ 1st, while trading Kuba for a 3rd?
