Trade Spezza AND Heatley for prospects and picks. With the ridiculous cap space we would have target a NUMBER 1 DMAN (Bouwmeester) and grab MacDonald as you're number 1 centre. Play the kids and let them grow together in a better atmosphere.

There ya go...

I thought people were kidding me when they told me the lineups. I assured them that he'd go back to what went moderately well last night. Unbelievable. We'll be lucky to hit 20 shots this game.

Watching Nash play, it makes me realize that neither Spezza nor Heatley is remotely close to his level.

Yep, or Cowen or B.Schenn or at this point Hedman or Tavares, Duchesne. The choices are getting more and more broad every game we lose (tank).

That's what I was saying to Mel last night. Heatley should have the pride to realize that Nash is killing him these days and that perhaps he should get back to the level where he's considered one of the elite. Because right now he's nowhere near elite - he's a waste of cap space actually.

How hard is it to do the things Nash was doing tonight? Thats an ELITE player. I hope people can see the difference between Spezza and an elite player now.

I really don't want Tavares, Hedman or Cowen. I want forwards who can score and are elite skaters. I am hoping our D is fixed by getting a #1 DMAN this summer and knowing what is coming up.

worst... coach... ever... He benches Foligno even though Heatley only has 1 shot in 22 minutes of playing time, and that shot comes near the end of the 3rd period while on the PP... Diddle

Uh...I'm all for getting some real D-men this summer, but I wouldn't spit in the face of Hedman or Tavares.

How does Columbus even draw 5 fans per game. This was no illusion, this is how they play - boring.

Nash has never lost the competitive edge while playing for one of the worst teams since he came into the league. That is character, Heatley, Spezza please request trades and take Hartsburg with you. (I'm done defending him as well).

Elite??? Elite?!?!?! I'd be happy with good... decent or mediocre would work too... Heatley was out right crap tonight... This putain de merde needs to take some Goddamn shots... If Volchie can get a shot on nets, Heatley should be able to get 10... And on his only shot, he delays and lets Mason get set... what a joke

Heater,

I think you're labelling the wrong team "boring" tonight.

I no longer want Fisher traded. I now want anyone who gives a Dung to stay, and I don't care what they are getting paid. We have 14.5M of cap space wasting my god damn time every couple of days.

While I would recommend Matt Duchene as such, I disagree with your mindset.

We need guys like Hedman and Cowen. Vermette and others have proven - it doesn't matter how fast you are, if the D can't make plays for you you're not going to find success offensively.

Hedman or Cowen is vital. Although Tavares has the potential to be such an elite forward that I'd take him (and maybe Schroeder) over Cowen.

Heatley and Spezza were - without question - the worst players on the ice. That was an absolute embarassment.
