You just click Profile. Then above the words Registration Information is a list starting with Information then preference, Signature and then Avatar. Click Avatar and you can either upload one from your computer, add a URL for one or choose one from the gallery.

That's true but it's not just Meszaros's fault. The real problem is that our power play was far too stationary and the defense had no way to get the puck to the net. Quick puck movement opens up lanes for defense to shoot through. That's something the power play didn't do last year.

That's something our powerplay hasn't done ever.

Yes it did. I remember in 05/06 the power play passing it around a lot very quickly. That power play was dominant. In 06/07 our power play during the season struggled a bit with quick puck movement but in the playoffs they moved the puck around better then anybody else except Anaheim. Last year it was a struggle because everybody just stood still and made passes around the box instead of making quick passes.

I don't like to speak of 05/06 and what could have been. That team on paper was just about as dominant as any team ever. Diddle Hasek....

Mr. Fakelund is stating a new batch of teams. Why is he getting my hopes hope. Schneider could be a final peice that could put the Bruins much further ahead.

Don't worry. Once BOS reduces it's roster to 21 players or so, they'll only have about $2-2.5 mil in cap space at best. Unless they can move a $3+ mil contract -- Fernandez? -- I don't see how BOS could fit in Schneider and his $5.625 mil contract.

Take a look at the first trade rumour discussed in that piece -- "Patrick O'Sulivan to Toronto for Van Ryn, Mark Bell and a two mid-round picks," i.e., a big bag of garbage for a front line player -- which should remind you to take Ek's rumours with LOTS of salt.

Lol, I don't beleive any of his Rumours. They are absolutely hilarious sometimes. Only way Bos could ever acquire Schneider would be if it was a three way deal with say LA and Anaheim where Anaheim is getting back no salary and Bos is dropping a few players..Either way its not happening.

Amen to that. It's amazing really how many latch onto them though. And on the one hand, it USUALLY generates counter-arguments and proposals for discussion, so that's a good thing, but some of the rumors are just laughable at times.

I'll broken record myself. I would love to acquire Schneider. I know we have enough D-men, but none that have the PP QB pedigree of this guy.

I have a feeling he won't be traded. Marchant, guys like that can be traded or waived to make room, but if the Ducks lose Schneider, they have a legit shot of not scoring 220 goals, which would be a problem to say the least.

oh yeah. GF is crucial.
Now, what are the reasons available that a team can be 10% over the cap?
I figured Burke would be making moves left, right and center by now, but all indications point to him standing pat for the time being, which has me a little confused...

With Teemu coming back, I don't see any way to avoid moving Schneider.

ANA is nearly $4 mil over the cap at the moment. They'll save about $2 mil when they trim their roster down. Then bank on Selanne signing for $3 mil or so (it will be very Duck friendly). Then also bank on Burke wanting a little cap space for injuries, call ups, and deadline deals, say in the realm of $2 mil.

That means they need to clear about $7 mil in space. To me, that means both Schneider and Marchant, whose salaries total about $8 mil, are both gone.

In any event, I don't see how you create the space need to fit Teemu without at least moving Schneider. Teemu's already said he's coming back and that he only wants to play for ANA... so I'm guessing Burke moves salary to make the space for him.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Burke is, in my mind, MUST move at least one player, for starters, to squeeze Teemu in.
Let the rumors fly!!
