I will say though that the Hawks are kick Donkey awesome and I certainly didn't think they'd be able to pull it out against Vancouver. I did have a feeling about these guys this year though, I think they're going to the Finals for sure. As long as they can get past Detroit, they're good to go, and they WILL win the Cup if they get there.

Go Hawks, Go Canes, Go Wings!!!!

I laughed when N4L's posts. It screams of someone who needs to be right because they either are full of crap and want everyone to believe them when they do get one thing right, or they have low self esteem and want to be liked by everyone.

Yes you were right N4L, however acting like an Donkey and going to such extreemes just makes people disslike you that much more.

Anyway, enough about him (god how I wish I could ignore /remove posts from certain people), I just wanted to say thank you for all the great people and posts on this site. Dawg has received a promotion with his team and we're moving to Chicago. I'll try to pop on now and then, but due to his new position I won't be able to post any comments even personal opinions on players as they can be intrepeted as tampering.

I enjoy your posts, and I'm not the only one who says this, you guys are among the most knowledeable fans out there. Don't underestimate your power. There are some very highly postioned people on some NHL teams who are aware of fan sites like this and believe me when I tell you they do check to see what is being talked about.

Thanks for the kind words DW!!

As a follow up...I was told the same thing the other day. Apparently this site is know about by a few NHL guys in managerial positions. I thought it was just talk to make us feel good. Smile There are legitimate people who look through these (this) site?

Congrats you win jackass of the year award, you can stop by and pick it up at anytime.

BTW, all four remaining teams in the East wouold be a tough match for Chicago.

Razz So very true, thank you!

Thanks DW, I'm very happy to hear it. There are definitely some very insightful people here, and it's great to have different opinions and nice for everyone to be able to get their thoughts out.

I do think that the fact that the Sens are out of the race this year made a lot of people focus their attention elsewhere and to start learning about other teams and players. I, for one, am really enjoying the learning curve. I have learned things this year that I probably wouldn't have if the Sens were in it. (I get totally sucked into Sens Land when they're in and I don't focus much on the other series, the way I have this year)

I wish you and Dawg the best of luck in Chicago, I hope that everything goes well and that you have a blast. I've heard that it is a beautiful city and you'll have a great team to watch there as well. It is certainly becoming an extremely exciting team and there are definitely going to be special things to come for them.

I get flack from people like you who pretend to actually have some sort of clue... Like saying people question Chara in Boston right now, hahaha, right buddy... They questiong a guy who has taken a last place team to the top of the conferance and is currently playing one of the best teams in the NHL with maybe the bet goalie! You're right on the money.

The people who dislike me, I want them to dislike me, because, like it or not, Im right WAAAAAY more often then I am wrong. People dont agree with me, thats fine, they want to give me flack, thats great too, expect crap like this though.

So, laugh all you want, but at least Ive come out and proven who I know, and thenpeople like you chirp off at the time, but when they're wrong no where to be found.

Have a good one! You're a real treat.

Yup, they would, usually teams in the conferance finals tend to be of the upper tier teams in the league. Guess what, Boston and Pitts are two of those teams! Carolina might be better then both of them right now though, Ward has come through in a large way and they have made some good moves.

Thats fine, doesnt take away from how much better they are then the Sens. Chicago is a solid team, front to back.

Man, you're a broken record.

You've been saying this for over 24 hours. We get it. Few of us see it exactly the way you do, but we get your position. Let's move on.

Few of you saw it like me, correct, but who was right. The one guy or everyone else...

I loooooove being right.

LOL. Man, I would have loved to see how many hours it took you to dig this up. You have so much time on your hands, especially when it comes to N4L-boosting.

The conversation referenced here is very context-based -- i.e., specific to ONE game back in December -- and so it's entirely misleading to quote it as representative of our opinions now. CHI improved a lot down the stretch. Specifically, they finally got some good goaltending out of Khabby, their D core really improved (Keith, Seabrook, and especially Barker -- who was in the minors in Dec., I believe), and they picked up a good checker in Pahlsson. That is, the addressed a number of the issues that I was talking about in my previous posts.

But spin it how you will.

Sorry, I couldnt hear you through the sound of the backpeddling through a wall. Barker was there all year, FYI.

I love all the BS people spew, might suck to know I was bang on eh... and we'll, you're wrong. Ouch, ouch.

Ya, I thought Luongo would would get them there, but I guess not, thats fine though, I was wrong.

Again, for all the flack I take, especially for that period of time and I proved to be, basically 100% correct, I got no prob shoving it down people's throats. Especially Rooney, I know he loves it.

And why is it, in your view, that you take flak?

Could it be that whenever someone disagrees with you, your response is "haha get a clue buddy"? Shrug

Not true, I disagree with you all the time, and for the most part we have very indepth discussions on everything hockey, because its another point of view based on a lot of knowledge, and yet, you dont dismiss what others say if it is also based on similar things.

I have no prob shoving things down people throats when they deserve it.

The people who give me flack for the most part are the ones that truly have "no clue"

You should work for the White House. I've never heard such confident, blatantly misrepresentative spin-jobbing as this is my life.

Anyway, same old N4L BS: "I'm right, you're wrong" ad nauseum. Sorry buddy, you have ZERO capacity to judge what anyone else has to say for the single reason that don't even know what they have to say, or what they might be saying. You're far too busy asserting how right you are and how little anyone else might know to pay attention to that stuff.

Anyway, I'll just leave this alone. It may come as a shock, but I don't need the official N4L stamp of approval to validate what I think about hockey.

Thats cool, some people like being as ignoraant as you do. Dont need my stamp but I would suggest you go and grab some sort of idea about the game... Cheers

LOL. Ignorant? Huh. That should come as news to the University of Ottawa, who will be giving me my PhD in exactly one month. And the major publishing house that is going to publish my thesis.

But you know best. As you would put it, "Youre the smrtest person I no."

Oh, I didnt know getting a PhD gave you some super power where one knows all... congrats on that by the, thats actually impressive, that's something I could never do in all honestly.

Guess what, its a hockey board and you can read all the articles and books you want, you're still ignorant to the game of hockey, buddy. Again, have a good one!

Laughing3 Okay, that's enough you two. Geez...at least it was amusing when I looked at it, but it's not necessary. Rooney's a great contributor and Neely is...Neely. That's neither a good nor bad thing, you just need to know when to back away and let him go at it.

Enough, or I'll lock the thread. Ahhhhh!
