this sucks, in many ways, Gerber deserves to play in the NHL somewhere, plus we wanted rid of him, maybe he leads the B-Sens to the calder cup? that means O'Keefe gets demoted again I guess.

Enroth maybe, Lalime no, we been down that road before. but for 500k, why not, that is a drop in the bucket.

according to SSF and Cronie, BM said he got Diddle by a couple teams when it comes to Gerber.

So I am curious does he have clear waivers again if a team trades for him even though he is playing in BIngo?

and I thought Gerber was to be demoted, unless he can't right away, does this mean they are stuck with 3 goalies or does BM have a trade worked out? (highly unlikely since no one plucked him off waivers)

a) How does he "deserve" to be in the NHL when he clearly isn't good enough?
b) How does this suprise anyone? Did you guys just miss every game he played for us? The last people who should be surprised by this are Sens fans.
c) Calder Cup? Gerber?? No. He lets in just as many weaks goals in the 'A' as he did here, so I'm told. If they're going to win the Calder, they will do it on Elliott's back (who better be on the clear day roster!! It means he has to be sent down, but he can be immediately recalled until the end of the season, or so I'm told...)

Just a note that Spezza's brother was in nets at practice today, as Auld had the flu.
