Thats fine, doesnt take away from how much better they are then the Sens. Chicago is a solid team, front to back.

Isn't it disgustingly beautiful?!? :bounce:

Aside from the Bruins, they are better than anyone in the East.

Wrong.

Man, you're a broken record.
You've been saying this for over 24 hours. We get it. Few of us see it exactly the way you do, but we get your position. Let's move on.

Talking to and talking at are two very different things. All you do is the latter...Neely4Life wrote:rooneypoo wrote:Neely4Life wrote:DashRiprock wrote:But they're in the west...

Imo a shutout isn't out of the question and Imo Neely you're overstating what Chicago is. I'm not even sure what you mean when you say they're the Boston of the West...I don't see the comparison...
I don't necessarily disagree with the theory behind what you're saying about them, its just the levels that are off.
As far as Gerber goes, think back to is 2007 before the Finals run: Gerber, after losing the starting job and being relegated to backup, went 10-1 down the stretch while playing some really strong hockey. I'm not saying it'll play out the same way or that we'll go on a tear for the rest of the season; all I'm saying is that Gerber is a great backup goalie. he just shouldn't be making 4M....
Chicago has had one of the toughest scheduals of any team thus far in the season and are playing great hockey. They are young like the Bruins, well coached like the Bruins, fast like the Bruins, skilled like the Bruins and tough as wel. If the Hawks were in the East they would be right there with the Bruins and could be leading the conference.
Chicago is a team that if taking lightly will run the Sens right out of town. Sharp, Kane, Toews, Havlat can all put the puck in the net. Keith, Campbell, Seabrooke, Barker, all good puck moving D who can get dirty in their own zone. Huet is the only question mark on that team.
The Sens have to score first or its over. Sens have to score first in any game and its over it seems.

Few of you saw it like me, correct, but who was right. The one guy or everyone else...
I loooooove being right.

I will say though that the Hawks are kick Donkey awesome and I certainly didn't think they'd be able to pull it out against Vancouver. I did have a feeling about these guys this year though, I think they're going to the Finals for sure. As long as they can get past Detroit, they're good to go, and they WILL win the Cup if they get there.
Go Hawks, Go Canes, Go Wings!!!!

Anyway, enough about him (god how I wish I could ignore /remove posts from certain people), I just wanted to say thank you for all the great people and posts on this site. Dawg has received a promotion with his team and we're moving to Chicago. I'll try to pop on now and then, but due to his new position I won't be able to post any comments even personal opinions on players as they can be intrepeted as tampering.
I enjoy your posts, and I'm not the only one who says this, you guys are among the most knowledeable fans out there. Don't underestimate your power. There are some very highly postioned people on some NHL teams who are aware of fan sites like this and believe me when I tell you they do check to see what is being talked about.
