On the flip side, I like Dorion but man he needs some coaching on public speaking. He's gotta stop reading from a paper, it's amateur. And he screws up his lines while reading too.

Article wrote:One day after Boudreau interviewed with Ottawa, the Wild moved quickly, landing the veteran coach to reinvigorate the franchise. According to Boudreau, he never had a “formal offer” from Ottawa. He also felt like he jibed with Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher – known as one of the savvier operators in the business. After the Senators hired Guy Boucher, they said Boucher was their No. 1 choice and had the resources to meet Boudreau's price tag of near $3 million per-year.

I said the same thing about Dave Cameron when I heard his first PC.
Many (myself included) wrongly assumed contract talks = job offer. Lesson learned. When Dorion says Boucher was his number one, he meant it.

Good hire but lol @ "top choice".

1) We know Ottawa wanted Boudreau first and most
— Travis Yost (@travisyost) May 8, 2016
2) Even assuming arguendo that's false -- no one on this planet thinks Boucher > Boudreau
That's why Ottawa hired Guy Boucher last week and didn't wait. He was runaway favorite.
