Gryba has a phone hearing today, so I guess that means he'll be getting suspended for at least one game. That's bogus in my opinion, but what can you do. To be honest, I thought he was one of our worst players before getting ejected...he looked a little lost. I don't think it's a big deal to bring Wiercioch in to replace him.

He was pretty big for us on the PK, being our only RHS D that kills penalties. There were a few clears he did that Phillips would have had a little trouble with.

That said, though, I'd love to see Wiercioch in there, as he provides offense the Sens could use (take away that stinker on Silfverberg and the Sens could be losing that game 2-1). Patty W was tied for the lead with 3 points in 4 games against the Habs.

On the other hand, maybe this is the game the Habs will try to goon it up. Borowiecki is free, and he's pissed off as hell, too. He's played the right side for us before. There are definitely possibilities here.

I get what you're saying, and I agree...but why would he have a phone hearing with Shanaban if there is no suspension coming? Does anyone remember a time when there was a hearing, but no suspension?

If they suspend Gryba for that its a complete joke

I don't remember which one but there was definitely a hearing this year then no suspension... I think it was Pacioretty.
