I see Kessel has stopped negotiating with the Bruins and has indicated he will sign an offer sheet from one of the 29 other teams.

Bruins can always match... but this may put pressure on Chiarelli to get a deal done with some club.

bruins can try to match but according to tsn.ca he is apparently looking 4-5M a year and bruins have ~1.7M in space they would have to drop a player to match or just accept the compensation

Time is ticking on the Bruins too. They need to get something done here in a hurry. I wonder if Chiarelli would be interested in helping out his former club in the form of a Patrice Bergeron gifting :D

Interesting scenario. For sure he's getting an offer sheet now. It'll be up to the Bruins to sign him on his terms. The tables have completely turned. Very interesting stuff.

If Boston doesnt accept they are mental, haha. Kessel is not THAT good. He's decent for sure, but a guy that was a 5th overall 4 years ago... he is all the sudden worth basically two, top 5 picks. Burke is proving what a lot of people thought, he's a moron.

Strange stuff. Does Burke think he's the next coming? He's good, I'm not sure he's that good though.
