He and Eric Staal have been dominant. It's amazing what skilled big men can accomplish when they use their size.

Mind blowing performance by the Wings...SOGs 22-6.

But still, just a two-goal lead...the Ducks are back in the game if they get a break.

Insane...just eleven SOGs by the Ducks...and yet...we have a brand new game.

wings have to stay out of the box if they want to win and the ducks just need to get more offensive zone time and more shots at osgood with traffic

OK...I am AMAZED.

The Ducks get dominated in the first frame 14-3 SOGs.

They go down two-zip in the second.

Going into the third...they had the same number of shots as the Wings in Period Two...all accumulated in the second half of the period.

And trailing by a single goal.

They almost tied it up.

The Quackers are dangerous.

the pp goal was dangerous and it finally got the ducks moving their feet and they have a good chance to win since hiller has held them in the games but they need to keep pouring on the offense to and not sit back like they did for the first half of the game

As we start the third period, The Next Goal--to haul out that tired but true cliche--is critical.

3 times the wings have missed the wide open net with 4 min left that could come back to haunt them

Darren Helm gives the wings the 3-1 lead and some scrappy play by helm and cleary

Quirky fact darren helm has played a total of 23 games in the last two years during the regular season and played 27 including this one in the playoffs

zetterberg adds the empty netter detroit now takes the 3-2 series lead
